All watches purchased from an authorized Ole Mathiesen partner comes with an International Ole Mathiesen Guarantee. In order to preserve your Ole Mathiesen timepiece, it is important to regularly service your watch. Watch maintenance is typically necessary every 4-6 years. For waterproof watches it is necessary to change the gaskets every 2 years to secure the waterresistance. Your Ole Mathiesen watch is warranted against all material and manufacturing defects for two years after the date of purchase. Thereafter, the repair will be subject to a service charge. In order to benefit from this International Ole Mathiesen Guarantee you will be required to present the Ole Mathiesen Guarantee, duly completed, dated (including the date of purchase), stamped and signed by an authorised Ole Mathiesen partner. This International Ole Mathiesen Guarantee does not cover defects and damages due to loss, theft or fire. Nor does it include defects and damages resulting from deliberate misuse or negligence, or from accident. Further it does not cover defects and damages caused by improper use (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.), normal wear and tear, alteration, dismantling or repair by anyone other than an authorised Ole Mathiesen Service Centre.
