A CELEBRATION OF DENMARK
ANDERSEN Genève's long-standing friendship with Danish retailer Ole Mathiesen has resulted in a trio of refined limited editions that also serve as a loving tribute to Svend Andersen's Danish roots. There are two variants on the Celestial Voyager worldtimer, in platinum and red gold respectively, and a special edition of the guilloché dial Jumping Hours.
The two Celestial Voyager "Copenhagen" models each feature a detailed cloisonné enamel dial depicting Denmark and its surrounding islands. The platinum version, limited to just eight pieces, uses a gradient palette of deep blue enamel tones, with wire partitions in white gold, evoking the cool clarity of Nordic light. Its red gold counterpart, also in a limited edition of eight, explores the warmer, seasonal palette of autumn, with gradient brown enamel and red gold wirework.
The Ole Mathiesen x Andersen Genève collaboration presents a platinum interpretation of the Celestial Voyager, distinguished by its finely executed cloisonné enamel dial. This edition reveals a unique chromatic harmony where deep blue tones are subtly enriched with warm brown nuances, echoing the gentle transitions of Nordic light. Platinum wire partitions frame the enamel artwork with cool, precise clarity, enhancing the understated refinement shared by both maisons. Crafted in a highly limited series, this piece stands as a testament to masterful craftsmanship, artistic restraint, and a timeless Scandinavian sensibility.
Completing the series is a red gold Jumping Hours model, limited to 12 numbered pieces. Its hand-guilloché dial is made from kiln-fired BlueGold that, through precise control of heat, is transformed into a deep shade of chocolate brown rather than traditional blue. Crafted in our Geneva studio, the dial showcases the full potential of this signature material in a warm, understated execution animated by the lozenge-motif guilloché.
