Introduced in 1982 as a smaller and refined version of the illustrious Patek Philippe Nautilus, the ref. 3800/1A-001 is a testimony to the age of smaller, ultra-thin luxury sports watches. Known for its medium sized 37.5mm case, slim bracelet and updated movement, the ref. 3800 was an instant hit. This example being from 1999, making in the 3rd and last generation, here seen with the shiny black dial with applied roman numerals, and a bracelet with a double folding clasp.
