Relatively modern, the Portofino-series originated in the 1980s with direct design language from early IWC pocket watches. The case architecture is slim, rounded and high polished for a distinctive and refined look. This modern version, ref. IW356517, showcases a larger 40mm stainless steel case, an off-white dial and applied numerals in rose gold, matching the leaf-shaped hands. A strict and simplified dial layout ensures easy time reading, only slight interrupted by the date window. The automatic cal. 35111 movement will run for 50 hours, aligning with moderns standards.
