Introduction
When you visit our website, information about you is collected that is used to customize and improve our content and ads. If you do not wish to collect such information, you should delete your cookies and avoid further use of the site. Below we have elaborated on what information is collected, their purposes and which third parties have access to them.

Cookies
The website uses “cookies”, which is a text file stored on your computer, mobile or equivalent for the purpose of recognizing it, remembering settings, performing statistics, and targeting ads. Cookies can not contain a malicious code, such as a virus.

It is possible to delete or block cookies. If you delete or block cookies, ads may become less relevant to you and occur more frequently. In addition, you may risk that the site is not working optimally and that there are content you can not access.

The website contains third-party cookies that are specified in the summary at the bottom of this page.

Conditions of sale
When shopping at Ole Mathiesen A/S, you can pay with Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Following the purchase, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. All prices in the webshop are inclusive of VAT for private customers and exclusive of VAT for distributors. All orders are settled in DKK.

Ole Mathiesen A/S is not responsible for any misprints, price changes, products out of stock, changes in taxes, currency movements and force majeure, whereupon Ole Mathiesen A/S reserves the right to cancel the order.

Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers, which have been purchased physically in one of our stores, cannot be used in the webshop.

Charges for credit card payments
The Danish Payment Systems Ltd. (in Danish “PBS”) charges a fee for use of payment cards. Ole Mathiesen A/S has chosen to pay such fees.

Time of delivery
Ole Mathiesen A/S ensures prompt delivery service within 5 -7 days, however, subject to availability. We will ship your entire order, meaning that delivery will be delayed if one of the ordered products is out of stock. Last delivery service before Christmas is 14. December, within and outside the EU.
When placing an order after 2pm, delivery will be prolonged by 24 hours. In case a product cannot be delivered as indicated, we will contact you within 2 – 4 business days.

Costs of carriage and handling
When ordering watches to countries within the EU, a fee of DKK 125.00 is added to the price of the product, and a fee of DKK 75.00 is added when order watch straps or bracelets. For countries outside the EU, a fee of DKK 270.00 is added to the price of the product, and a fee of DKK 150.00 is added when order watch straps or bracelets. The fee is inclusive of VAT for private customers within the EU and exclusive of VAT for distributor and private customers outside the EU, and for handling and forwarding.

Our packages are forwarded using PostNord, FedEx and GLS and Ole Mathiesen A/S cannot be held liable for any delays occurring with our package distributors.

Right of cancellation
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. The right of cancellation period expires 14 days from the day you receive the product. For orders placed between 1 December and 24 December, the right of cancellation period is effective from 24 December the same year.

You must notify us if you wish to cancel the purchase within 14 days from receipt of the product. Notification must be either by telephone on +45 33 14 12 08 or by e-mail using webshop@olemathiesen.dk. You must make it perfectly clear that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. You may also use our standard cancellation form that you can get here.

You cannot cancel your purchase by denying receipt of the product without at the same time informing us hereof explicitly.

Return of products
You must return your order to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after having notified us that you want to cancel your purchase. You must pay any expenses related to the return of the product. When returning the product, you are responsible for ensuring proper wrapping/packaging of the product and you bear the risk of the product from the time when it is delivered to you. All products must be returned using Track & Trace. Expenses related to returning of the product are in Denmark not expected to exceed DKK 200.00.

The condition of the product when you return it
You are liable for any depreciation of the product caused by other handling than what is necessary to establish the character of the product, the qualities of the product and the way in which the product works. This means that you can try on the product, just as you would do at a store. If the product has been tested beyond the above, we consider the product to be used, which means that upon return of the product, you will only receive a part or nothing of the purchase amount, depending on the commercial value of the product. For example, a watch bracelet must not be shortened.

In order to be repaid the full purchase amount, you must only do what you would do at a physical store. You may try on the product but not actually start using it.

Repayment of the purchase amount
If you exercise you right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (however, not extra costs as a consequence of your choice of another type of delivery than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay, and in any circumstances no later than 14 days from the date we receive your notification of your decision to cancel the purchase. We will execute such repayment using the same means of payment as you used making the original transaction, unless you explicitly have agreed to something else.

We may withhold payment until we receive the product you return, unless you have provided documentation for having returned the product.

What to be included when returning the product
You must enclose a copy of the order confirmation. The handling will be quicker if you also fill in our standard cancellation form here.

Right to claim compensation for defective product
Pursuant to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, Ole Mathiesen A/S provides a two- year right to claim compensation for a defective product, which covers manufacturing defects and defects in material, which are established by normal use of the product. The right to claim compensation does not cover defects, damage or wearing which is a direct or indirect result of faulty operation, poor maintenance, violence or unauthorized actions. Claim for compensation due to faults and defects, which should be noticed by general examination of the product, must be notified to us within reasonable time. Subsequently, the product can be returned for repairing, exchange or be credited according to agreement.

If you have contacted us in advance regarding the claim for compensation, Ole Mathiesen A/S will pay your reasonable costs of carriage by forwarding a package label. If you do not contact us before you return the product, Ole Mathiesen A/S will not refund costs of carriage.

In general
Personal information is any kind of information that may be attributed to you to some extent. When you use our website, we collect and process a variety of such information. This happens for example. by ordinary. Access content if you sign up for our newsletter, participate in contests or surveys, register yourself as a user or subscriber, as well as other use of services, or if you make purchases through the website.

To the extent that you explicitly consent to this and even enter the information, you will also be treated: Name, phone number, email, address and payment information. We have taken technical and organizational measures against the fact that your information is accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, impaired or comes to the knowledge of a person, misused or otherwise treated in violation of the law.

Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user and show you the ads that are most likely to be relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, and to provide the services you have requested, such as. to send a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimize our services and content.

Period of storage
The information is kept for the time allowed by law and we delete them when they are no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the background for storage. Therefore, it is not possible to specify a general timeframe for when information is deleted.

Disclosure of information
Data about your use of the site, which ads you receive and possibly click, geographic location, gender, and age segments, etc. be disclosed to third parties to the extent that this information is known.
