When shopping at Ole Mathiesen A/S, you can pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and MobilePay. Following the purchase, an order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address. All prices in the webshop are inclusive of VAT for private customers and exclusive of VAT for distributors. All orders are settled in DKK.

Ole Mathiesen A/S is not responsible force majeure and if case of delays, backorders or sold out items, we strive to inform you as soon as possible to what we can do about it.


If a price is manifestly incorrect and you reasonably should have discovered this, we are not obligated to supply the product in question at the wrong price.


Gift vouchers, which have been purchased physically in one of our stores, cannot be used in the webshop.


The Danish Payment Systems Ltd. (in Danish “NETS”) charges a fee for use of payment cards. Ole Mathiesen A/S has chosen to pay such fees.


Ole Mathiesen A/S ensures prompt delivery service within 2 – 4 days. We will ship your entire order, meaning that delivery will be delayed if one of the ordered products is out of stock.

When placing an order after 2pm, delivery will be prolonged by 24 hours. In case a product cannot be delivered as indicated, we will contact you within 2 – 4 business days.


When ordering watches, a fee of DKK 100.00 is added to the price of the product, and a fee of DKK 50.00 is added when order watch straps. The fee is inclusive of VAT for private customers and exclusive of VAT for distributors, for handling and forwarding.

Our packages are forwarded using GLS or PostNord.

If the country we are delivering to has import taxes or customs fees, you will be charged when the order reaches that country. To avoid any surprises, it is best to check this before you order.


You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. The right of cancellation period expires 14 days from the day you receive the product. For orders placed between 1 December and 24 December, the right of cancellation period is effective from 24 December the same year.

You must notify us if you wish to cancel the purchase within 14 days from receipt of the product. Notification must be either by telephone on +45 33 14 12 08 or by e-mail using You must make it perfectly clear that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. You may also use our standard cancellation form and return it with the product. A standard cancellation form is enclosed with your order confirmation and you can also find it here.

You cannot cancel your purchase by denying receipt of the product without at the same time informing us hereof explicitly.


You must return your order to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after having notified us that you want to cancel your purchase. You must pay any expenses related to the return of the product. When returning the product, you are responsible for ensuring proper wrapping/packaging of the product and you bear the risk of the product from the time when it is delivered to you. All products must be returned using Track & Trace. Expenses related to returning of the product are in Denmark not expected to exceed DKK 200.00.


You are liable for any depreciation of the product caused by other handling than what is necessary to establish the character of the product, the qualities of the product and the way in which the product works. This means that you can try on the product, just as you would do at a store. If the product has been tested beyond the above, we consider the product to be used, which means that upon return of the product, you will only receive a part or nothing of the purchase amount, depending on the commercial value of the product. For example, a watch bracelet must not be shortened.

In order to be repaid the full purchase amount, you must only do what you would do at a physical store. You may try on the product but not actually start using it.


If you exercise you right of cancellation, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (however, not extra costs as a consequence of your choice of another type of delivery than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay, and in any circumstances no later than 14 days from the date we receive your notification of your decision to cancel the purchase. We will execute such repayment using the same means of payment as you used making the original transaction, unless you explicitly have agreed to something else.

We may withhold payment until we receive the product you return, unless you have provided documentation for having returned the product.

Pursuant to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, Ole Mathiesen A/S provides a two- year right to claim compensation for a defective product, which covers manufacturing defects and defects in material, which are established by normal use of the product. The right to claim compensation does not cover defects, damage or wearing which is a direct or indirect result of faulty operation, poor maintenance, violence, or unauthorized actions. Claim for compensation due to faults and defects must be notified to us within reasonable time. Subsequently, the product can be returned for repairing, exchange or be credited according to agreement.

If you do not contact us before you return the product, Ole Mathiesen A/S will not refund costs of carriage.

We register your personal information for the purpose of being able to deliver your product to you. The above information will be transmitted and stored electronically and unencrypted and kept on file for five years, after which time it will be erased. Normally, the information will not be used, but it might be used in connection with e.g. police investigations. All fake orders will be reported to the police!

When personal information is gathered via our website, we ensure that we always obtain your express consent, so that you are informed of exactly what type of information we gather and why.

All information is stored securely and is only available to trusted employees with Ole Mathiesen A/S. Information given to will at no point in time be given or sold to third parties, and we do not register any sensitive information.

Being registered with Ole Mathiesen A/S, you will always have a right to object to the registration. You also have a right to receive knowledge of the information registered about you. In connection with electronic payment, we do not – for security reasons – store any credit card information. Only when making payment, a certain amount of information will be transferred to the Danish Payment Systems Ltd. The transfer is performed under tight security via an encrypted SSL connection or directions from the Danish Payment Systems Ltd. The transaction is handled via Stripe, which ensures compliance with the current security requirements.


When you register for our newsletter, we do not delete your personal data. Otherwise, that would defeat the purpose of signing up for our newsletter. You can always unsubscribe to our newsletter (and request to have your data deleted) by writing to us at


Your personal data will be saved for up to eight years after the closing of a sale, so that we can document our sales and accounting records to the authorities if the question should arise. The legal basis for this is the Danish Bookkeeping Act, paragraph 10, first section. In addition, personal data is saved in the case a customer thinks that we have provided insufficient advice, whether specific advice or general advice. We wish to clarify any possible questions, opinions or claims by showing the course of events related to a purchase or a case, including correspondence and notes.

We store your personal data in connection with your customer relationship with us for up to eight years after a purchase or a case closes. We make sure to review our cases and procedures when filing a case so that we do not store more personal data than what is strictly necessary to satisfy the purposes described above.


If we have a dialogue with you and the result is that we do not sell an item to you, we will delete your personal date after a suitable period, typically three years. We attach importance to whether the correspondence indicates that you might possibly return to us at a later point, whether we have given an offer that is valid for a certain period of time, as well as to your general interest in making a purchase.
